Contagious UK – Summer BootCamp 2020

Contagious is a creative and strategic intelligence service that helps marketers, ad agencies and brands deliver more innovative and effective marketing. In July 2020, they held their UK Summer Bootcamp event featuring Masterclass keynotes from some of the industry’s biggest and brightest to share their insights and inspire creativity. For the event, Contagious ran a competition for up-and-coming industry talent to create a short but provocative talk on any subject, with five lucky winners being chosen to deliver their talk at the event. The topic I chose to talk about was operating in ambiguity, which was titled “I have no clue what I’m supposed to be doing”. I was chosen as one of the lucky five and asked to produce a recording of the talk, delivered however I deemed suitable – and if you know me, it was always going to be slightly unserious with a lot of TV references.
